This week on Burgers & Bourbon we were joined by our friend Bill Renyolds who brought with him Peerless Single Barrel Rye. Henry Kraver, the man that shaped the Peerless legacy, roots run into the 1800s through the river city of Henderson, Kentucky. The history behind this highlights all the ups and downs of the Bourbon industry. This Rye was much of a surprise to us, with its smoothness and complex flavors. Thank you to Big Bourbon Club for letting us try their barrel pick! If you have any recommendations on what to review next, please post them in the comments! Join us every week as we review new/classic bourbon and uncover Kentucky’s rich history, one bottle at a time.
